Appreciate the difficulty here and i really do love my AP6 Pros when they are working properly, and well the size of the them compared next to the Aruba AP25s is laughable. They are about half the size and look so much nicer, which makes them easier to use at home. The speeds on a 1G uplink are about the same and the range is similar although the AP25s are a bit faster on a 2.5G uplink.
I am happy to try the new build and give it a go and report back, just need to time it right with the family etc. as I can’t break anything as I have exhausted all good will over the last few weeks
User19 is in the same situation is me in terms of family and goodwill being almost exhausted.
That said I’m not currently seeing any issues at all which is good going.
Hoping a new firmware is on its way soon that will nail these problems once and for all.
Unfortunately, my workaround didn’t work today either. (Restart the APs at night via POE). Two Google Audio devices lose the connection again.
Hopefully you can fix this soon
It looks like it fixed the Sonos issue. The Elgato Key Light is still having issues. And what’s really annoying is that I still have two Google Nest Audio devices that lose the connection after about 24 hours.
EDIT
Sonos issue is back… I can’t connect via the spotify app or Airplay (iOS and MacOS devices). But the Sonos app on the same iOS device can find the device…
Unfortunately, this update didn’t fixed my issues…
I can see many logs like this for the sonos device

Sometimes the Sonos Box is shown, sometimes not. Could this have something to do with these constant re-connects?
@Alta Team I would like an honest answer. I am a software developer myself and understand when you say that the issue is very complex and you can’t really say what the issue is at the moment. But I just have to think about using the Aruba APs again. So do you think you will be able to solve this in the next few weeks or not?
There also seem to be simple connection problems. See some comments here in the forum, my own connectivity issues with the Google devices and apparently the Sonos box seems to be constantly reconnecting.
The Sonos device is on the same vlan as my main devices.
VLAN 1 => switches and access points
VLAN 10 => private devices and sonos.
VLAN 40 => some iot devices (bulps… and 4 google devices. 2 nest audios, 2 nest minis, Canon printer)
I never had AirPrint issues, but my printer is off most of the time. just switch it on when I need to print something. Maybe thats the reason why I don’t have issues with AirPrint.
Beside the connection loss I don’t have any issues with the Google Devices.
They are always accessible via the Google Home App… I can stream from the spotify app, they can control the bulbs… But after ~24 hours they lose the connection. But just the 2 Audios. The minis are working perfect…
So my main issue is the sonos box and those disconnects with the two Google Audios. And especially the disconnects are really annoying.
The Elgato keylight is also on my main vlan since last night.
Now it is definitely available more often, but not always. But I don’t care at the moment. I use it just for video calls and can switch it on and off quite easily using a curl command. I’m fine with that for now.
I can do that. But I don’t know if I can do it before the weekend.
At the moment I also want to check the changes I made yesterday.
I have done a factory reset of the APs and also reactivated the 5GHz for the IoT SSID.
This was also the case with my Aruba APs. I just thought that I didn’t actually need it because the Google devices should also work well with 2.4 GHz.
Maybe this will fix the connections issues. But I don’t know. Lets see what will happen until tomorrow.
@the Technically flattening the network would likely work around what you’re seeing in your multi-VLAN configuration. That said, we do have a command we can try if you’d like to try a potential fix that will work in your existing configuration. One of us would need to be invited to your site temporarily as an admin (pw access isn’t needed) to input the commands and reboot the AP(s). Please reach out if that is of interest.
Btw. the 2 google mini devices are also connected to the ap6 pro. maybe its just an issue with the ap6.
@Alta-Jeff has enabled the experimental feature yesterday.
Since then, I was always able to access the Sonos system via AirPlay and Spotify Connect. Therefore I’m optimistic that the Sonos problem has also been resolved for me.
theoretically there is only one issue left: Wifi disconnects of the Google Audio device that is connected to the AP6. Or could the experimental feature have solved this problem too? At least I haven’t had any crashes today. But sometimes it just takes time @Alta-Jeff
