Similar to other appliances, please add a capability to turn of the link light for the on-prem Control.
Thanks!

Definitely agree! The link lights on Alta devices are so bright it’s crazy.
Maybe this could be tailored for the Control HW too, as a temporary workaround:
Jeff has helped me build a script to schedule the link lights on the switches. I wanted to share in case someone else still wanted to be able to turn the LEDs off at night!
A few notes before we start.
The script below is set to enable the LEDs in the morning at 7:00am and disable the LEDs in the evening at 9:00PM. You can go through and adjust the times if needed, just remember to adjust them in every location. I am sure someone more clever with code than I can set a variable for the tim…
Also, there are much related topics found here:
It would be great if you could schedule the LED to turn off and on with a pre-defined schedule e.g. off overnight.

Hi team, I know you are working hard to bring the best product to market and I have a few suggestions and thoughts I would like to share. Hopefully you will find some suggestions valuable.

Dashboard: more statistics (how many clients are on which band, how many clients are connected per AP etc). Might be in the works and released when the router is available. Guess many datapoints can be added when the router is added to the environment.
Dashboard: show number of clients…

So I’m not sure if the link lights on my controller died or if there was an update pushed, but I no longer have a link light on my controller, thankfully. My “Controller LED” setting is disabled, so maybe they pushed an update that makes the link lights follow that setting? I’m not sure.
It would be great if someone from the Alta team could confirm one way or the other.

Well, seems to have been a lucky(?) break… I rebooted the controller and the link light is back.
