Kill Switch for AP in Alta Control

My customer requested this feature in case they want to block any transmission or IoT/alexa/siri listening during a private meeting or if their guest has a psychological problem with RF radiation and their health. Or you want to ensure your privacy during Meeting.

My client desired the easy possibility to kill that particular AP on demand for any required time.

At present, I advised them to turn off the POE power of that port on the switch or use an injector and switch off the injector. However, the client is looking for an easy on/off solution application or on the control dashboard.

Schedule radio on/off on a per AP basis

Hi, there is a schedule setting on a per SSID basis available. In a home usage scenario, and perhaps in businesses as well, it would be useful to schedule the respective APs radio on/off, as one for example usually spend less time in living room and kitchen areas and more in bedrooms during nights. If one can layout the AP positions in a clever way one could turn on/off the radios separately covering those regions. As I understand this feature is not available currently.
