Accessing Route10 without internet

How can I adjust NIC settings and such on the route10 if my wan is down?

I believe that’s presently either via SSH or using a local controller. That’s actually a point of discussion in this topic here:

It sounds like there’s plans to enable more options from the local web interface if needed, but those are the two that are available right now.

Yea that’s what I’m dealing with right now my ISP randomly decided to change my static IP and now I’m screwed, if this box has Bluetooth at the minimum allowing the app to make changes would be really handy. But yea local up with a webgui to help with WAN IP stuff would be nice a simple wizard for wan setup even

I believe the other option right now is to configure the new WAN settings in the controller and then reset the Route10. After the reset you’d have the initial setup wizard (via app or local web page) where the new settings could be entered in to the router itself. Once it connects back to the controller it should pull down the rest of the configuration it had before, as long as the router hasn’t been deleted from the site. Although someone from Alta Labs can feel free to correct me if that’s not 100% accurate.

It doesn’t sound like there are any plans to add features to the bluetooth functionality at present based on a question in their latest live stream, but I suppose we could agitate for it to get it prioritized :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
