Weird IP adress conflicts on route10 router

Hi there,

I’ve seen all threads with this topic (IP Address Conflict(s) detected) and it is 2026 and still having this problem on the route10.

My network is simple.

1 VLAN

DHCP range a.b.c.50 to a.b.c.199

1 DMZ

Nothing fancy and yet randomly getting IP conflicts.

First the router IP a.b.c.1 was in conflict with the Cox ONT which was weird. Then I changed the router to a.b.c.2 and it was fine until devices (20-25 of them) connect.

It seems to appear with direct connect ethernet on my switch (dumb one from Zyxel) but OUI and GPT says that for some it is a randomized MAC address.

So what’s up? Never had that with my former router.

I just had the same thing happen too.
A new device was added to the wifi network and it grabbed the same IP address that was already reserved for another device.
Not sure if is somehow caused by 1.5f but I’ve never seen this before upgrading to 1.5f.

I do run 1.5f as well but I just setup my network a few days ago and it started to pop randomly.

Seems like it was an issue according to some threads back in 2025 so either a bug got re-introduced or it has never been really fixed.
