Preorder placed … can’t wait to get to play with it.
When will the rack mount be available?
@Alta-MikeD will Dual Wan be in the first release of the router?
If I read the specification on the WEB you indicate that Multi WAN is Post Launch Future.
What is correct?
Will this be available on Amazon anytime soon? =)
Hmmmmm As most of the stuff I require is still slated for release in future editions of Operating System, Im not going to dive in at this time. I understand the Phased release critera but without a timeline (Thats accurate) at this time its not for me.
In the launch video, the backside of route 10 shows input power as 5v 1.8A, (maybe it is a prototype)
how is it possible for a router with 70w power consumption with PoE (mentioned in the documentation) to operate at 5v 1.8A?
The documentation does not provide clear details on the power supply for clarification.
Overall route 10 seems good and comparable to Unifi Max Gateway.
10Gbps ports make route10 future-proof,
An additional USB 3.0 port (for storage or USB tethering) would have made a complete package.
I was looking for a low-power home gateway. if route 10 with PoE disabled can be powered with under 15w, I would go for it.
Anyone know if this supports DHCP option 61 or IPV6 PD as would need one of these to authenticate with Sky Broadband here in the UK?
UK pre-orders now available:
We are hoping for delivery mid October.
Maybe i was too quick…but cannot buy it at the moment…
Ok…think i figured it out, you have to request to pre-order it first and then wait for sales to confirm.
We don’t take pre-orders in the main cart, you need to submit a pre-order request.
You should see a pre-order button in the orange box where the delivery dates are showing.
Dual WAN support probably will be available by the time products start hitting the public channels, which we expect to happen within a few weeks time. It may be phased in stages, but we’re aiming to have it generally working by then.
Do note that things can change, so this isn’t firm, but obviously it’s very high priority for us.
DHCP Option 61 support will be added in a future update, it will not be available at launch. Prefix-Delegation will be available once IPv6 support is added, which I think the goal is to have it ready by or close to the time these are in channel and hitting customers’ hands.
Yes, they will be available there, probably in 2-3 weeks, or so.
Hey folks, we created a Routers category with a pinned topic to aggregate all FAQs. Bear with us as we get some of the already FAQs populated in there, but let’s direct any new inquiries over to this new thread, please.
The adapter I have is 54v 1.3a, which is ~70W output, and the expected PoE output is ~40W (total). That leaves ~30W for router operation.
I just preordered the Route10, I am very excited to finish my mini rack and not touch it for a while. lol
Then again, I might add the on-site controller…but I don’t need it…but I do…we’ll see.
Teaser update, we are hoping to get them in stock early next week !
Nick
Looking forward to getting mine delivered…Cannot wait to put it though it’s paces.
I guess I’ll be busy this weekend
