I see that switch/router combo rack mount
Love it if those are out at launch with a router only version as well.
Anyone know the specs?
I do, but not allowed to say until the top dogs say anything
All I will say is that it is very very impressive especially for the size
I am hoping now that they are showing it at the shows they can release the information - after all what’s the point of showing it off to the trade and then saying we cannot tell you anything about it.
Perhaps we can’t ask, but it appears to support POE. Good thing I took a screenshot before someone took down the page.
I was just trying to make a light joke about the image and/or site being live, and then being pulled. We’re not censoring or removing any of this conversation, so feel free to ask questions, etc. We’re stoked to see the excitement surrounding Route10!
Unfortunately our hands are currently tied, when we can share more, we will as @Alta-Matt_v2 alluded to earlier. That might be later today, that might be next week, or some other day in the not too distant future. Hopefully on the earlier side of things.
I was also just trying to be humorous. However, I was pretty pumped when I added Route10 to the Alta products web address and discovered a page. The picture and FCC application will have to suffice for now. Here’s looking forward to making my full home setup Alta Labs based.
Yeah no worries. Take your time. People are just excited for something new not named Ubiquiti. With Chris Buechler involved I’m sure it will be great.
Timing is everything, right? We’re trying to find a decent balance between announcing and making sure it can be in your hands relatively quickly. We don’t want to announce year(s) in advance. Sometimes it seems like we’ll (“we” in this context being consumers) hear about products when the company thinks about it rather than when it’s legitimately close to shipping.
Thin veil here but I suspect most will understand what I’m trying to convey…
