Congratulations on the launch of Route10!
Happy to have it installed and have a mostly full Alta stack. One remaining switch to go.
Once I realized I couldn’t configure the Route10 until I connected to my ISP (due to the fact I have a 192.168.1.x network) then it was a breeze to install and get online.
I would like to note I’m extremely excited to the post launch features. Looking forward to a release schedule.
While setting up and testing the Route10, I moved over 1 of my 3 APs. Worked fine without issues, had connection and broadcasting a specific SSID to that 1 AP. Once I got the Route10 fully configured and rebooted one last time, the AP I moved to Route10 no longer powers on. I have moved it to another Alta switch where I have a working AP, connected to a PoE injector, no joy. I moved a different AP to where the one that wasn’t working was and it works.
The only indicator I get on the Route10 is a blinking amber light (nice addition btw). Any thoughts on what I can try?
A few other points to note and possible feature requests:
- Would love to have been able to setup DHCP reservations ahead of time in bulk. E.g. Cameras and other key IoT devices I want to retain a specific address
- Devices that have an assigned DHCP address, is there a way to indicate that on the devices page?
- For devices that are connected off a non-Alta daisy chained switch which I look to give a specific IP to I get a warning about multiple devices, any way to make this better? . Screenshot below.
Really great work on the release, incredibly happy with the form factor, the features at launch and the power packed into such a small device.
Thank you!
