Refreshing Number of Devices in Device View

I hestitate to call this a bug report, perhaps more of a performance issue or I’m being impatient. But I wanted to see if anyone else noticed this behavior when using the cloud controller.

When going further back in time in the device view, the number of devices will increase as you go further back in time and that number will stay listed on the page even after going back to the Live view. A manual refresh of the controller page is required in order for the correct number to be listed again. I’ve included a little GIF demonstrating the behavior below:

If that’s expected behavior then that’s fine, not a huge deal even if not, but I would think the controller should be refreshing that number when switching between views. Thanks eveyone!

Ah, I have seen that one too :slightly_smiling_face: Reported it back in February.

Ah, well allow me to add a data point for Windows 11 using Microsoft Edge then! Seems to be for any site in the cloud controller based on testing 4-5 of them

And, since then I migrated to the local controller and it behaves the same.

I noted another quirk as well. When changing to 2 months span, I get an IP collision alert for two devices that happened to have the same IP within that time frame. Both are offline now but as they once had the same IP from DHCP, though not at the same time, it seems like the alert on IP conflict is triggered.

Yes, I think I’ve seen that as well! Hadn’t really bothered me enough to remember to note when it’s occured, but I suppose the DHCP conflict logic probably shouldn’t be applied when looking at historical data like that.
