Lab environment (software development and software testing) Alta Labs AP6-Pro product is replacing the existing Google WiFi/Google Onhub access points

After learning about the hardware via the YouTube channels (CrossTalk and Lawrence Systems), I ordered an AP6-PRO which arrived yesterday.

As my background is software development, I have a lab environment that in the past have used Google Onhub and/or Google WiFi units. Unfortunately the needs for the access is not as great as my wired ethernet.

The new AP6-PRO will compliment my existing equipment (as I have a few routers/switches/firewalls):

Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN
Mikrotik CRS309-1G-8S+
Netgate XG-7100-1U
Netgate SG-4860-1U
Netgear JGS524ev2 switch

The initial install from the unboxing was a matter of minutes after I found the MAC Address and made sure that the AP6-Pro unit has access to the internet (for the management UI which is cloud base).

The AP6-PRO has been working great 24 hours after the initial install.
