Looks like a fun project! Just needs an EGO battery attachment for the back so you can power them while mobile too 
This reminds me of the Minirack. It would be great if more manufacturers including Alta held themselves to the 1/2U width “Minirack Standard”.
Manufacturers such as Mikrotik have been creating their smaller products to fit or be able to mount two side by side in a regular rack. Products are available on the market for keystone patch panels, switches, routers, and multiple U rack heights from multiple vendors.
I was bored and added more to this, now it has a nice alta logo and a spot for a raspberry pi 5. Would be great for camping.
Love it. I abandoned my mini rack with a full Alta stack because I moved into a bigger home. lol
Built in AP mount would be pretty neat.
