A renowned dental clinic in Tainan recently upgraded to a new dental management system and invited us to assist in redesigning and upgrading their existing network infrastructure. The client sought to simplify cabling, enhance wiring integrity, and ensure compatibility between the clinic and residential network systems. Initially, another vendor proposed using Ubiquiti equipment for the clinic and retaining Alta Labs systems for the residential floors. However, after an in-depth analysis of requirements and thorough discussions with the owner, we successfully convinced them to implement Alta Labs systems throughout the entire building, achieving seamless integration through our comprehensive planning and execution.
Tailored Design and Professional Installation
To meet the clinic’s unique VPN requirements, we deployed a MikroTik router with dual ISPs, implementing strategic routing to ensure network stability and security. The outdated TP-Link switch was replaced with the higher-performance Alta Labs S24-PoE Switch, and existing wireless routers in the clinic were reconfigured as access points (APs). Based on the needs of both the clinic and the residence, we installed AP6 and AP6 Pro units, covering the entire building from the first to the fourth floor. This setup delivered seamless roaming and ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity throughout.
Smart Management and Enhanced User Experience
We also activated the WiFi Schedule feature for the owner, enabling guest Wi-Fi access during clinic operating hours to serve patients and automatically disabling it after hours to ensure main network security and efficiency. Upon project completion, the owner was astonished by the unparalleled speed and stability of the Wi-Fi, experiencing a level of connectivity that far exceeded expectations, resulting in immense satisfaction.
