VLAN Options in Wifi Setup

Apologies if this has been posted before (search turned up nothing useful); but could someone tell me if there is any difference between these two fields? If so, what are the differences; and if not, why have both options?

Default network VLAN (lower highlighted section) would apply to any SSIDs that don’t have a VLAN tag in the SSID

The AltaPass VLAN (upper highlighted section) would supersede the Default network VLAN.

So let’s say the default network VLAN is 12 and you have two AltaPass passwords setup; Password A with a VLAN of 10 and Password B without a VLAN defined.

Those who enter Password A would be on VLAN 10
Those who enter Password B would be on VLAN 12
