I have a very basic configuration in place at the moment.
A static IP WAN configuration on WAN port 2 (SFP).
This appears to be working and all my devices can get out to the internet.
I am however getting a notice about the 1.3 firmware, which I cannot seem to install. I get a curl error 6.
I opened the terminal as a test, and also noticed that while I can ping 1.1.1.1 (which is what is configured in the WAN network config I have on WAN port 2) the device is definitely unable to resolve names.
I took a look at /etc/resolv.conf and noticed it is using 127.0.0.1 as DNS.
It looks like I can edit resolv.conf locally, but before I do anything like that I wanted to check if this is expected behavior, or if DNS is being set incorrectly somewhere, and if so, where is the appropriate location to update this so that it will resolve wherever the firmware its trying to download is located.
