Unable to get Auto-VPN/Auto-Connect working on 2 route 10s

The premise is simple enough and the instructions make it seem to be straightforward but I’m unable to get the above working.

One route 10 is able to connect to another route 10 via wireguard, but the reverse does not work. Additionally, the Auto-Connect/Auto-VPN feature does not work either and always shows red (and I seem to get an IP address conflict error). Tailscale also does not work on either site despite advertising and allowing the routes.

I’ve tried various combinations of ON/OFF and of course have tried each of these on their own but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone assist?

Solved it by add a new user. No idea why this worked as I’d done it before.

To recap:

Router A --(Wireguard)-> Router B | Worked initially
Router B --(Wireguard)-> Router A | Works now by recreating yet another user (resulting in autogenerated client IP of x.5)
Auto-VPN/Auto-Connect | Still not working
Tailscale | Working as expected again

The IP conflict error will popup again every few hours but seems to have no effect beyond either wireguard or tailscale dropping but then auto-reconnecting.
