Troubleshooting Blink issues

I’m trying to add a new sync module to my Blink configuration. In the past this has never been an issue. However, that was BAE (before my alta era). I’m not saying the issue is with my Alta config either, but I am looking for guidance.
When I try to add a new sync module to a new zone it always errors out to a red LED. I have tried the firmware reset as suggested by Blink “technical support” (yes, the quotes are intentional).

I’d like to monitor the traffic from the sync module while I’m trying to configure it. Should I just hop on the router shell and use tcpdump to trace traffic from that MAC address?

Was able to resolve by using a different phone running the Blink app. I have a real love/hate relationship with their product.
