I wanted to thank the Alta team for AltaPass. I have a guest over tonight who happens to be the first person in a long time that has asked for a guest WiFi password. I realized upon them asking that I didn’t have a guest SSID or password! Under normal circumstances this would mean creating a new SSID and password, hitting apply, and waiting while the radios all reset and everything in the house slowly recovered from. the WiFi interruption. Not with AltaPass. I simply pulled up my site, went to my main SSID, and with a few clicks created a new internet only password. It took me less than 2 minutes start to finish with no WiFi interruption at all. It was the fastest WiFi change I have made in a while, and it was soo nice not to cause any interruption to everyone else. Well done Alta Labs.

I turned mine into a QR code that I post up on my fridge for guests. Then they can just scan it with their phone while I keep the password unreasonably complex.
