I have 4 Ap6 Pro access points and they are all mounted on the ceiling. unfortunately it is very warm at the moment and the APś show a temperature of 72 degrees Celsius… I no longer mounted them directly on the ceiling, but they are now temporarily hanging freely. therefore, the temperature has dropped to 62 degrees Celsius. what tips do you have for me on how I could mount the access points better… Spacers. Miscellaneous… because 72 degrees is really too warm for me for a wooden ceiling. Thanks for the tips… LG Thomas
Those are internal temps not the actual temp on the external heatsink. They will be fine. I have mine in garage that gets warmer than that at sometimes and its been like that for couple years.
