Switch option for in wall media panel

Doing residential installs we often need to mount a switch in a 14” wide in wall structured media panel. We have a job that requires 12-14 ports. We could use two S8-POE or one S16-POE

2 S8-POEs are easier to mount because of size and orientation. But I’m always a fan of using one larger switch when I can.

The S16-POR works. But it’s a tight fit at 10” deep with power in the back. We have to be more creative to get it installed and leave room for the ports and connections.

Curious if anyone has installed an S16-POE in an in-wall box and how it worked out. Or have most people stacked smaller S8-POEs?

90 deg power cord for the S16.

Thanks @Beaker - that was my thought too, a 90 degree power cord with the 16 port switch, and maybe mounting it at a slight angle so the front ports are easier to access and read.

If we give the S16 a go, I’ll post a pic so others can see how it worked.
