Since updating to 2.3e my S8-POE shows disconnected in the local controller. Rebooting and full power pull on all devices has not resolved it. I’m still able to SSH to the switch, and all traffic is still flowing.
I don’t have the local controller but for the sake of testing since SSH into the switch works; can the controller IP address and name be pinged from the switch?
SSH to the switch and run the date command. See if the date and time are right. I had the same issue and it was because the date was way off causing SSL certs to be rejected.
DNS is resolving correctly; however, the switch can only ping the default gateway and nothing else on the subnet. After leaving it overnight, it suddenly started working.
Question, what is upstream of your S8? Is it another switch, or a Route10, or something else entirely?
