Starting 2025 with a headache and broken gear

How’s it going hope the holidays were great like at my home lab. For 2025 I had been planning a new network and because I was having issues with some old TP Link 10Gb switches and have pulled the trigger on the Route10 and AP6 Pro to start the build.

Route10 Install was great.

Just plugged in the AP6Pro is fussy to say the least.

I’ll try to take a deep breath but this really makes me fel like its beta testing. Hope this ends with going from microtik 25Gb switchs and TPlink 10Gb switches with a vm on proxmox of pfsense with 2 10Gb ports and all Alta Labs if they ever go 10Gb and 25Gb.

Last Edit - Amazon will be getting my 8 port, route10 and ap6 pro back and I’m going Ubiquiti.

With all due respect it makes no sense to post on the forum about a problem if you won’t allow the team to reach out and help you fix it.

The support teams is amazing at Alta. Give them a chance to work with you to see what the problem is.

Agreed. Please call support, and I’m sure they will help you out. Please don’t make multiple posts about the same issue.
