S8-POE frequent disconnection

Hello,

I have 9 x AP6Pro & 6 x S8-POe which i am using between my home and office spaces.

3 switches being used at home and 3 at the office.
The APs are running fine. However I get frequent disconnection issues on 2 switches.
One at office and one at home.

Have tried changing ports, different ISP etc…
One thing of note is that the switches with the problem are getting input from another S8-poe from another room.
Its the same in both cases.

I cannot figure out what the issue is. Need help to solve this.

@pahila, did you try swapping any of the downstream switches with the upstream switch as well? I mean, does it follow the device or the downstream position? How do you go around restoring the connection? And, how often is frequent?

I had a disconnect on one of my S8 switches today as well. Though, that one was connected directly to Route10.

While disconnected I could see the link lights jumping between orange and blue blink, like if it negotiated different speeds. This flickering was also reflected on the Route10 port settings page.

I did a reboot of the Route10 as well as unplugged and plugged the Ethernet cable in again, then the connection was restored but I’m not sure which. One or both of those steps resolved the connection. The disconnected S8 did not need a reboot or power toggle.
