Like the title says. I applied the new firmware released today to all my Alta Devices. Now both my S12 and S48 switches are in a disconnected state. I’ve tried rebooting them both and the Route10 without any luck….
I’m so hoping I don’t have to factory reset and reconfigure the route10 and S48 for the second time this month due to issues with Control. I have quite a few VLANS setup and it would be a pain to rebuild again…. Any help would be appropriated.
If so, disconnect the SFP and run a jumper from the route10 to one of your switches and see if one comes back online. If either does, its an SFP bug, one of which I’ve came across in the past.
I am using SFP+ DAC cable between the Route10 and the S48. I’ll give this a try.
The S12 is new and has been in my office for testing. I was able to get it back by doing a factory reset and reverting to the original firmware… Am going to re-apply the new firmware and see if it goes back into a disconnected state.
Connecting an ethernet cable from my route 10 to the S48 allowed the switch to connect to control again. If all goes well Alta will release a new update that address the disconnect issue.
