Router 10 compatibility with Italian FTTH provider

Hello,

I discovered the Router 10 through a search on Amazon.com and I am interested in purchasing it.

I currently have a 10 Gbps FTTH fiber connection and I would like to use this router with an Italian service provider, but I am not sure whether it is compatible.

At the moment, my router configuration is as follows:

Protocol: PPPoE

  • VLAN ID: 835

  • PPPoE Username: phone number

  • PPPoE Password: personal password

Could you please confirm whether the Router 10 is compatible with this configuration and can be used with Italian providers?

Hey Vincenzo,

I am in Barcelona, Spain. I am using a R10 with my provider DIGI with the same identification they provided to you: Username + password + VLANID. Its working with 0 issues so far!

It was extremely simple to setup using the KB: https://help.alta.inc/hc/en-us/articles/33805681985435-Route10-Initial-Setup#:~:text=The%20easiest%20way%20to%20get,the%20setup%20wizard%20at%20setup.

thank you for your reply. I assume that someone else had the same configuration as mine; after all, Spain and Italy are very similar in terms of network configuration.

Now I just need to find where I can purchase the router at a reasonable price.
