Route10 WAN IP address (DHCP)

New to the Alta products as I evaluate its use case for my remote business locations. I could be missing it, but when a WAN IP address is assigned via DHCP from my provider to my W1 port, where can i see this in the dashboard to confrim the address? My sites will be remote to me and this is something that is usually always displayed in other routers I have. I am hoping I am just missing where to see it. Thanks!

It should be in the tooltip when you hover over its LAN IP on the dashboard.

Found it! I will admit, its taking me some time to get used to finding items in tooltip’s. Why does it show as “eth3” in this tooltip menu and elsewhere its shows the W1 connection as port eth1?

The eth1 referenced in your picture is actually LLDP information showing the port that the Route10 is connected to on the upstream Cloud Gateway Max, not the Route10 itself.

Look at the LLDP info on the lower left part of the image, and it’s the same on the right. Is there a different reference of eth1 that you’re referring to?

Interesting… The Route10 goes out its WAN1 port and enters the upstream Cloud Gateway Max on its port 2 (eth2) so that does not seem to align with what i would expect via the LLDP info. Isn’t eth1 on the Route10 the Wan1 port which is why i assumed it was indicating the Route10’s port configuration.

The cloud gateway counts from zero IIRC, so the first interface is eth0 because that port is the first from the left on the front of the device. Do things start to align if you follow that pattern?
