Hello all. I’ve just purchased the Route10 and have noticed that when I change the wan dns to 1.1.1.1,1.0.0.1 and run dnscheck.tools opendns & google dns are still being used. I’m on 1.4f and have rebooted the Route10 to no avail. Looks like dnsleak test also show dns leaking to opendns & google.
I guess you have default options for DNS per VLAN as well as Network device like AP and Switches (if Static IP instead of DHCP).
Anyway, there are override options there to, to set or unset.

Yes. I have the default options set for native vlan as shown in your screenshot and cloudflare set in the wan dns. I can change the vlan dns to cloudflare which works but results in a lot higher response times. My understanding was that if vlan was left as default it would use the Route10 as dns & dns caching system. Regardless of what my wan dns is set too even left blank (which should use my isp’s dns) it still uses opendns & google. Not sure if this was same before the firmware upgrade.
