Hello everyone, I’m new to this and would like to ask a question. Which SFP+ optical transceivers and stackable fiber cables are compatible with these devices (route10 and s24)? Which ones do you recommend? Or an SFP+ to RJ45 adapter.

Secondly, regarding SFP and SFP+ modules, we work with pretty much every brand. We have had great success with fs.com and TenFourOptics modules and DACs. If you find one that doesn’t work, we want to know about it so we can work on adding support for it.

On my Route10, I’ve been using this Lightwin SFP+ to talk to my ISP (Init7) and this Ubiquiti DAC to connect to a Ubiquiti switch. Both have been flawless for almost a year.

Avoid these below. Never had any luck with them. Stick with the above or 10Gtek.

I’ve also had good success with these units from ioplex, if we’re looking for options similar to 10Gtek that can be purchased via Amazon:
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if these and the 10Gtek units are basically the same underneath the different branding

Thank you for your response. Based on the comments received, I will definitely run some tests first. On the other hand, I will have to wait to purchase ALTALABS equipment due to a lack of stock at the distributor.
