If anyone was seeing the log messages I mentioned in this post here:

Then it looks like this firmware also fixes that :smiley:

Unfortunately, I cannot thank you for this update. My Route 10 has crashed 3 times since this update. Also the issue with VLAN’s is still present. On top of this the issue and workaround I reported in relation to smart plugs and smart switches in release 1.4i is still present but toggling between the HW disabled-Enabled and then disabled modes no longer works. Route10 Firmware 1.4i Released! - #8 by richardvaughan. Whilst you improve issues reported by others you continue to introduce new issues for me. Disappointing to say the least. :frowning:

@richardvaughan Can you please describe what you mean by “crashing”? We are not seeing any crash reports in our analytics, but if you can invite us to your site, we can take a much closer look at your specific setup.

Hello,

When do we plan on addressing the fact that real time statics are not working? – When I click real time the download/upload is just Zero.

If I go to DPI, select 2 days or 2 Months, it’s just empty. It is simply not loading up, be rest assured I have given it plenty of time for it to load up.

I have already reached out to support and someone has accessed my site and confirmed they are able to see the same issues I have.

Considering this issue has now been on-going since I got the device 2 months , it’s not great that this has not been fixed. Alta really need to step up in the updates and provide fixes.

Agreed, and align both cloud and local management updates during releases.

I apologize that we have not been able to resolve your issue in a timely manner. I assure you we aren’t seeing this on any of our test sites, so it’s difficult to fix something that the development team has not been able to reproduce. I’ll work with the support engineer that is claiming they can see the issue. The most common reason for stats being inaccurate is that the time on the laptop/desktop is incorrect. If you go to https://time.is , does your computer have the correct time?

@alta-jeff,

By crashing I mean unresponsive. On the occasions that this happens I am unable to reach the internet for basic browsing or to reach router using manage.alta.inc. This is me also trying to access manage.alta.inc from my mobile broadband connection which normally always works. Granted it appears to have now settled down in the last day but I had no issue until the last update was PUSHED. Power cycling the router restores connectivity. I have no problem allowing access to my site - just ping me a DM with the technicians details. Can you offer any answer to the VLAN issue that has been reported by myself and others. This one is ongoing for a while. Can you also offer any insight to the issue I also have reported with Smaprt Plugs/Smart switches(IOT) that had required toggling of the HW acceleration setting to work - But since the last update this solution does not work as before.
Thanks

Hell Jeff,

The time is correct. I have tried this on two computers, different web browsers, also tried in incognito mode which would disable all extensions. Lastly I have tried by using my mobile hotspot to rule out my network and yet still I am not able to see statistics.

So how do we fix this problem?

I’ve reached out directly for an invite to your site.
