Route10 Firmware 1.4e Released!

Route10 just got an upgrade—check out what’s new in the latest firmware release.

  • Add support for IPsec Client, including mobile and S2S.
  • Add support for third-party DDNS providers (controller support pending).
  • Add support for 1, 2, 3, etc. prefix to Alta DDNS, to filter WAN connections. For example, 1.123456.ddns.manage.alta.inc would point to WAN1’s IP address of your Route10. DDNS certificate on Route10 is now a wildcard domain.
  • Resolve issues with CAKE traffic-shaping over PPPoE connections.
  • Resolve rare issue with multi-WAN marking packets for incorrect WAN.
  • Firewall: Properly filter all traffic if no protocol is selected, instead of just TCP and UDP.

This update is being rolled out now. You can manually initiate the upgrade if you’d like, or it will automatically update overnight (if auto-updates are enabled). The complete, up-to-date changelog is available here:
