Route10 Firmware 1.3n Released!

Our latest firmware release for Route10 includes the following changes:

  • Improve system stability, especially when SFP ports are utilized
  • Allow router IP to overlap with DHCP range
  • Fix IPv6 when using DHCPv6 over PPPoE

This update is being rolled out now. You can manually initiate the upgrade if you’d like, or it will automatically update overnight (if auto-updates are enabled). The complete, up-to-date changelog is available here:

We need filter function but still doesn’t work (router10 without AP)

Hey @andrican! Could you clarify what filter you need, and what isn’t working?

really waiting to get the full multi-wan, IDP/IPS and ad-block/dns block functionality before switching over. Meanwhile I plug it every now and then to keep it updated and using firewalla for routing and firewall.

Hi @Alta-Josh, I mean I want to block some web site like facebook, yuotube and etc. Event I have save but still can open in my computer.

If you are using a mac or iOS. Sometimes I have seen Apple’s private iCloud relay circumvents the filters. If you are using a Mac or iOS I can find the settings that would need to be changed if you would like?

To be clear for everyone, right now filtering is only available when using Alta APs. The filtering is happening locally on the APs themselves.
