Can anyone confirm if the Route10 supports DSCP tagging? I’ve read that this is built in to the Route10’s DPI engine and supported on the WAN interface . I have a couple of Xbox’s that support DSCP. Once enabled, all traffic from them gets tagged with EF 46 which is expedite forwarding with high priority. Can anyone confirm how DSCP is handled?
Are we thinking tagging traffic outgoing to the Internet? I know CAKE queue management should take the DSCP tag into consideration and that gets turned on when setting the Download/Upload limit on a WAN connection on the Route10. Although I’ll need to check if the CAKE parameters on a Route10 use the setting that takes DSCP into consideration.
