Route10 Dead after connecting AP7 Pro!

Has anyone had any issues with Route10 just dying. I just brought home one of the new AP7 Pro access points to test. I configured WAN port 1 to be a “standard” LAN port since all my other ports were being used. Plugged in a patch cable to a POE++ injector and then plugged it into the AP7 Pro. (And no, I did not plug the POE injector backwards to the router.) The cloud dashboard showed the AP7. I clicked setup on the access point, after about 30 seconds all the ports on the Route10 stopped flashing and I got the pick Alta symbol. Waited a few more minutes with no change. I power-cycled the Route10 and nothing. No lights at all except for the amber POE lights on LAN ports 1 and 2. I am completely confused. Not sure if it has something to do with the AP7 Pro or not. No issues at all though until I connected it.

What injector did you use?

Ubiquiti UACC-PoE+±10G.

Did you connect an Ethernet cable from the left or right side of this picture to your Route10?

Left. I am very familiar with these POE injectors. I actually powered up the AP7 Pro first and then connected it to the router.

I spoke to tech support and we are doing an RMA so hopefully it will be taken care of soon.

I didn’t have any other ideas to share, but I’m glad to see support is taking care of you.

What is Alta Support saying?

They said it is an unusual issue that has been seen before. We are doing an RMA and they are going to look at and see if they can find out what caused the problem.
