Route10 Bell Canada PPPoE 8 / 8 Symmetrical Fibre

Finally got around to deploying the Route10 in my network it was comprised of all TP-Link Omada gear which I am looking to replace. Right now I have just swapped out the router nothing else

ER8411 Firewall / Router

SX3008F Aggregation Switch

TL-SG3210XHP-M2 2.5gbe Poe+ Switch

SX3206HPP 10gbe Poe++ Switch

EAP690E HD x 2 (Wifi 6E)

So imagine this without the ER8411.

Performance is currently on par with the ER8411 with IDS/IDP enabled to the highest degree on both. I have been putting this off since Christmas due to some health issues but it was a relatively easy swap and everything is currently working. Will update as I go !

Your upload speed is far away from ‘symmetrical’ 8/8 - what’s the reason for that?

With ids/idp enabled I had the same drop in upload. Disabled and full line and than some, but both Alta and to link Omada show the same performance hit in the same spot so I see that as the nature of PPPoE
