Route 10 wont connect to ISP

While having the route 10 wired to WAN 1 I am unable to complete setup. It will not connect to ISP.

Any suggestions what to do here? I was planning on replacing my whole network with Alta gear, bit disapointed to stumble at the first hurdle here.

Maybe Try to setup behind your existing equipment then connect to wan

I tried that, and a reset as well. I am reading my ISP might be using option 61 (I have Sky).

So route10 does not support this? awesome.

Jack,

Odds are the route10 does support this, but the web configuration has not been built for it yet. You should reach out to support and get the CLI strings you will need to set.

Route10 is openwrt under the hood, or a fork of it. It’s very likely the DHCP package they are using supports it, and if you bring it up they have more reason to add it into the webui!

@Alta-Josh is this able to be done?

We do not have official support for this yet, but option 61 is on our radar. Maybe you could submit it as a feature request so our engineers can see the community interest directly.

I’m on Virgin ATM and that’s been fine since updating to 1.3 but it would be nice to know if I ever use or recomment that Sky (and others) works. Mike did post in September last year it was on the development list Router release date - #51 by NickShore and I can’t fault the amount of updates coming out so hopefully for Jack…
