Route 10 not giving DHCP after upgrading to 1.5c, unable to see the router in the portal

Good morning, I have an issue with the Route10. I received a message that a 1.5c update was available, so I updated it. The device restarted, and there was no Internet access (the router was not giving DHCP). I waited 15 minutes, rebooted the Route10, then waited another 15 minutes. Still no DHCP. I pressed the Reset button for 10 seconds, and the light on the Route10 flashed green. After 20 minutes, I finally did a power-on reset, and now the Route10 has a steady white light.

I have connected my laptop to the ISP equipment and confirmed I can receive a public IP.

Is there another way I can reset the router or manually flash the firmware?

Any help is appreciated.

Interesting, I also found I couldn’t get internet once I had updated it. Though slightly differently to yourself, everything else was functioning correctly except my PC. For some reason it just wouldn’t get a connection, in the end swapping an SFP+ module and moving it to a different port on my S12 solved that.

I would just give support a call or email them, usually quite quick with their responses. Hope you get it sorted quickly.

I will try the following and update

Firmware Bootstrapping (A.K.A. Power on Reset) – Alta Labs

I reset the device and got it working. I also updated to 1.5C, and it’s working fine.
