I setup the Route 10 and had no issue to connect the L1 port with DHCP and upfrade was working well.
Then I assigned the SFP port 1 to be my main WAN port and also this was setup and worked correctly.
But then the problem started.
I tried then to allocate L1 as my backup port with PPPOE and the required user name and password.
Connection will not be established.
Then I get confused on the router we have from left to right L1, L1, L3,L4, SFP1 and SFP2.
On the WEB portal the port allocation from left to right is W1, L1, L2,L3,L4 and W2.
How does this compare with the physical port allocation?
Do I try to configure the back up WAN connection correct?
What is missing in my setup for the backup PPPOE connection? I have a screenshot of the setings from my ASUS router.
Please help to configure the backup line correctly.
MBR
Please try configuring the Metric
value in the advanced WAN settings.
I have guessed a little and now the Dual WAN is connected.
I would still recommend that documents and WEB console uses the same description and location for the ports.
Just to avoid any confusion.
But for me now the system is working with the latest revision installed and the correct port configured.
