Route 10 and ISP advertised speed

Route 10 with hardware acceleration set to VLAN and testing via speedtest desktop app im getting these figures. My line rate should be 8gbit/s, so i was hoping to squeeze out a little more performance (or see if its an ISP thing). Can anyone suggest different settings/commands i could try to pin down where the discrepancy between official ISP rate and actual rates lie?

Hardware is Huawei ONT > Route10 SFP+ > Microtik X4G switch to Intel 550X2 on desktop.

Cabling is 6A.

Also have an AP7 and i love it. But that’s beside the point.
Setting up route 10 with the AP7 with a VLAN was lovely so kudos.

root@A10:/cfg# cat /cfg/alta_bits
4

and this

i get ~8gbps on my LAN Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test

Thanks for the info, I have Acceleration enabled but don’t seem to have the same firmware as you.

This is what i get when entering the command
root@Route10:~# cat /cfg/alta_bits
cat: can’t open ‘/cfg/alta_bits’: No such file or directory

Hmm dont have alta_bits, I only have that in /proc/alta_bits and it’s read only

echo 4 > /cfg/alta_bits

just run this command

Thank you. It’s now confirmed on 4. Acceleration on too. Rebooted the route10 but no speed increase sadly.
