Sorry for the stupid question, but what’s the difference between RF Quick Scan and Full Scan?
Full Scan takes a very little longer to populate but if I compare the scan results to Quick Scan, I can’t see any bigger differences?
The main difference lies in the amount of data collected. A Quick Scan gathers a limited set of data, giving you a snapshot of the RF environment, while a Full Scan collects a more comprehensive set of data over a longer period. This means that while they may often appear similar, the Full Scan is more likely to reveal anomalies or less common interference sources that might not be captured in a Quick Scan.
Perfectly explained @Alta-MikeD , thanks a lot.
Could find this info anywhere.
No problem!
Documentation is definitely something we’re working on expanding. I’ve noted this as an area of improvement. My initial idea is to expand the RF triangle article to include scan type differences (and likely more, too).
Good idea!
I personally could even live with just one scanning option (full scan of course )
Why would I use quick scan with less results if full scan takes just 3 secs (!) longer?
At least in my case it’s literally just 3 secs - not sure if in different environments it would take much longer though…
