As the title says my desktop computer will not connect directly to the internet from the switch. My switch is flashing red and can’t pull anything up on the app about the switch., says disconnected. I have 2 Alta pro AP’s, 1 Alta 10g router, 1 Alta 16 switch.
1 of the APs is connected to the switch and has internet, 1 desktop is connected to the switch without internet. Any advice to fix this issue?
Automatic Firmware Recovery (Power-On-Reset or “POR”)
If the upgrade fails, the Alta Logo LED will blink red 3 times repeatedly. If this occurs, please ensure that the connected network has a valid Internet connection and attempt automatic firmware recovery again. If the issue persists, please contact support.
A blinking red A LED indicates that the switch has not been added to a site on the management platform. It is a security feature, because if you haven’t set it up yet, anyone else can set it up that is nearby. Please click the “Set Up” button at the end of the line where your switch shows up in the app/site. If you still can’t get it connected, feel free to invite me and I’ll take a look if the switch is actually connected to the rest of your devices.
