Hello,
I have been looking into the items you offer.
On this moment my network is build around a Draytek router, Draytek switch, Mikrotik 10gb switch and some older Zyxel 1gb POE swithes. I also have a few Draytek accesspoints.
When I compared the Draytek the Unifi Wifi accesspoints.
Draytek was a bit slower but more stable.
Now that I look to the ALTA lab A6 and A6pro, I found something weird in the documents, that the A6pro does not support security on a WPA/PSK level?
Generally I would not use that, but as the thermostat of my central healing only talks 2.4 ghz and wpa/psk, I know that I need that.
But I put that thermostat, with other IOT items on different Vlan, so it does not interfere on my main vlan.
So the question is, does the A6Pro support WPA/PSK? Maybe I did misread the documentation.
Thank’s for checking that.
Please don’t laugh. I made a mistake.
I thought I had it on WPA. I just did check it. I have it on WPA2.
I also did check a 2 gen older Vigor 902, which is not in use anymore, and that one was set to WPA. So I had that in my mind.
The newer Vigor 906, which is now in use, is on WPA2-PSK for IOT. The rest is on WPA2/WPA3.
