POE switch logs

I installed one of the 16 port POE switches yesterday. This is in a test capacity currently, not really impacting anything, but I am very curious about what is going on. I have 2 devices plugged in to the switch, one a normal GB interface and the second a POE access point. I am seeing the following in the logs “poe: ERROR -1 on L176”. I have zero idea what it means, other than the obvious, it is an error having to do with POE. Can anyone provide any insight into what this is and what might be causing it?

Hey @scatterday !

It’s a benign error that can be ignored. We’re going to get that message suppressed in a future firmware release.

Is there a target on when these benign messages will be suppressed? I see 2 to 3 log entries approximately every 15 minutes on each of my switches. I realize this is an old post, but hopeful the solution will be implemented sooner rather than later.
