Offer local admin access

  1. For pre-configuration prior to site deployment.
  2. When internet not available
  3. When Control (hardware or software) is not required or wanted.
  4. When security issues with cloud control is a factor.
  5. Just wanting to use Route10 as a replacement ‘standard’ router

Thanks.

When you say offer local admin access, are we referring to a web interface? As you can configure the whole router using SSH if you so desire

For those who only want to use the [cost effective, great speed etc] Route10 as a ‘conventional’ home/SOHO router without additional cloud or local ‘Control’ apps or hardware, it would be good to have a locally accessible (web/GUI) management interface.
Also, my experience from SSH with other routers etc. is it is all too easy to get something incorrect without much in the way of error parsing/reporting.

Ah so you want a non cloud/controller version. Yeah I’m with you about the web gui staying enabled after it’s connected

Now in with SSH. BusyBox under the hood.
I wonder… Would it be possible to load Luci or some other GUI??

It is possible yes, it’s all based on OpenWRT.
