New clients are displayed as “No Name”. My Firewalla Plus shows a new client with the name that the device has. Eg. S23.-XYZ …
Do you actually see this issue on every new client on your network? Is it limited to only clients connected over wireless, or from a certain AP? Do those devices have hostnames?

I’ve notice it happening to me as well I literally have to find which device it is by going to the Mac address or even assigned IP on the device.
This is really a known issue already @Alta-Josh. I’ve brought it up several times and they say the naming system is going to be revamped. Just about every device I have comes up as “No Name” as well. Wired or wireless makes no difference.

Pretty sure this is because a lot of devices now use rotating MACs not their actual Mac for privacy.
Yeah that is causing a lot of issues in this area. You are absolutely correct.

I try to name my common devices but if the device rotates the MAC even that won’t work when it switches.
I didn’t have this issue before but today I see about a quarter of mine say “no name” now when almost all 50 clients had a name.
