I’m hoping someone can help me out. I’m trying to set up a Mullvad VPN on my Route 10 router, but I’ve run into a problem and I’m not sure if I’m doing it right.
Here’s what I did:
Downloaded the config file from Mullvad (for WireGuard).
Added/imported the config file into the Route 10 VPN area.
The config file appears to be loaded, but the connection status shows “Disconnected” and it won’t establish a connection.
My questions:
Is importing the config file directly the correct way to set up a client VPN on the Route 10, or am I missing a step?
Are there any specific settings (like Allowed IPs, MTU, or DNS) that need to be manually adjusted for Mullvad to work on Route 10?
Could there be a compatibility issue with the config file itself (e.g., needing to remove specific lines like block-outside-dns)?
I’ve seen some discussions about manual configs not working properly and having to use the CLI, but I was hoping to get this working through the UI.
Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!
