Ordered a coupe of the LuLeey 10GBase-T SFP+ trcanceivers, both the 80m and 100m seemed to have the newer low power broadcom chip so they don’t get so hot, so went 80m.
I don’t have anything 10 gig to test with yet, but I can’t get them to work with 1 gig. My PCs LAN connection is 2.5 and setting the speed on the Route 10’s port to one gig seems to connect it at 2.5 according to the PC and the route 10 shows 1 gig. (Tranceivers are rated for 1, 2.5, 5 and 10)
But plugging in devices that are actually 1gig doesn’t seem to work.
Any suggestions?
Might just be an incompatible tranceiver….
