Loving the new Min. Connection strength option

As part of the recent 1.0h firmware for the controller there is now an option for minimum connection strength which imho is a killer feature for home user when you have good coverage and it means those few pesky items which are a little bit older and kept connecting to the wrong AP each time a firmware update is applied and the APs rebooted should now stick to the closest one.

Thanks Alta Labs.

Thanks for the feedback @user19 ! Glad you like it! We have so much more to come!

While I don’t have the controller, I just found this setting from the cloud control. This is pretty awesome!

Is there any release notes for the cloud controller? Or a way to see recent updates and features?

Here are the notes for cloud controller specifically: Control (manage.alta.inc) - Release Notes

Here is the release notes for all products: Release Notes - Alta Labs

How did you get the DPI breakdown? or is that for cloud only at the moment?

Looks like it’s just in the cloud. You can select one of your APs and then click the Info tab

Nice catch! It’s also present for client devices. I didn’t realize this was being made public yet lol, but changelog will be coming soon. Thanks for sharing!

Some of the math is off, or at least appears to for me. But please do let us know if you see things that seem too optimistic/unrealistic. We would greatly appreciate any and all feedback.

Ha, didn’t think to check individual devices! That’s good stuff. So DPI is only for wireless clients until the Route10 is released?

Sorry I missed this the other day. To my knowledge, that is correct.
