Local controller to Cloud migration

Hey everyone. Does somebody has done this already? I am trying to have it done for a showcase in a customers location but the I can’t seem to make it happen. I am deleting the devices from the local controller, then disconnecting the local controller and the cloud controller never detects them. Is this process one way only? Like if you sync them locally you can’t do it again in the cloud?

Briefly hold the reset button after deleting the device from a site. This should trigger the unit to also start seeking for a new controller.
