I mean mixing different brands of AP. Fast roaming and 802.11k and 802.11v only work between the same brand APs on the same network.
@benmott I’m still on your site. Can you reproduce your issue and let me know the timestamp, the AP, and the client that had the problem?
@Chris Can you invite me to your site? I’ll send my email privately. After you’ve invited me and been able to reproduce it another time, can you let me know the timestamp, AP, and client device that had an issue?
Just so you know, this issue is pretty difficult for us to reproduce internally, so we need to work with users directly to understand their specific issues to see if there are any commonalities.

Hey @Alta-Jeff! I’m quite busy at the moment away from my test setup so I’ll test and get back to you ASAP. Thanks!
Sorry for the late response - are you still trying to track this down? I was away for a while, then it took like 1.5 months to get a replacement AP sent after mine died, but I’m back running and still see the issues roaming between the APs or even the network bands, especially iOS devices with fast roaming enabled.
We cannot reproduce anything similar to what you are seeing. Do you have access to Profiles and Logs - Bug Reporting - Apple Developer , and can you install the Wi-Fi profile on your device, and grab the Wi-Fi log for debugging?
