There is currently no way to do this.
To be clear, the WiFi speed slowdown is when the ISP is directly plugged into the Eero?
No, it is this flow ISP - Route 10 - Eero Max 7 (Mesh)
If the Eero is configured to be a router, then you have at least 2 routers in the mix which has all sorts of implications, but definitely will have an impact on speed; the magnitude is the only variable there. Then there’s the possibility of the ISP modem also acting as a router for a potential maximum of 3. That can be checked with our newly posted KB article.
I would strip everything back to its most barebones configuration:
Knowing the results of those 3 configurations will give us better insight as to what is going on.
Did you manage to get this working? Im looking at getting the eero max 7 to use as a wifi router behind the route 10 and am wondering if there will be any conflicts or if there is a correct setup for the 2 to work together.
I have 2 ISPs connected to the route 10 for load balancing and failover and both isp modem/routers are in bridge modem. I have 2 ap6 pros I want to use as access points and need a wifi router as the isp routers in bridge mode disables their wifi functionality
