IP Adress for ISP WAN device

Contemplating on the IP adress setting for the (WAN) device associated to my ISP’s Gateway/Router. What happens if I would “accidentally” set something other than blank, like ignore or an IP as in the help pop-up.

Is that a way to get locked out and having to completely reset the Route10 or does it not affect the connection to the ISP at all? Just curious to learn…

Given that the configuration remains in the controller, you could correct the values from a different connection. Most likely through the app with your mobile internet. It will require a soft factory reset to clear the Route10 configuration, but when you click Setup everything will be re-established.

You could also reset, use the setup wizard, then use that connection to reach the dashboard and correct the configuration before setting up again.
